Unrestrained, fervid, blazing, psychedelic, rock.

Seedy Jeezus once referred to as “The Bearded Shamen of Riffology” take the beast that is 60s psych and meld it to the throbbing corpse of 70s rock. They have released three 12″ records in 2015. One was their self titled debut which has sold out in Australia and Europe with a repress coming out in conjunction with Berlin’s Kozmic Artifacts in February 2016. Another was a single song etched vinyl with a song Echoes in the Sky on one side and a stunning etched motif  to sell at the shows for their July European Tour which involved shows across Germany, Holland and Belgium, involving North Carolina’s Freedom Hawk, Earthless, Orchid, Blues Pills and Electric Moon to name a few. The third 12″ release was a bonus two track containing a psychedelic swamp out of Neil Young’s Cortez the Killer and a Seedy space jam called Into the Midnight Sun which came in a limited edition denim bag as part of their Pozible fund raiser campaign.

The debut album was recorded at the legendary Tote in Collingwood, Melbourne, Australia, after they flew out Tony Reed from Mos Generator from the US to record and produce it.

(The album was also launched at the Tote, to a full capacity crowd with good friends Sun God Replica, River Of Snakes, and TTTDC in March 2015.)

This sold out status continues the trend of their short run collection of live CDs and experimental jams which over early Seedy periods allowed the band to test run songs, experiment with their sound and keep fans up to date with what was going on in their musical laboratory.

Seedy Jeezus have a plethora of shows coming up including support with some international acts and are tirelessly working on their new album.
